My name is Debbie Endres. I started my business, Life Care Center, in 1990 after becoming certified in Swedish Massage at the Touch of Life School of Massage Therapy in St. Anthony, MN. There were 3 massage therapists in the Brainerd area at that time: Mary Mekola, Julie Guth and myself. Mary and Julie became wonderful mentors and we remain friends to this day. I am also a certified Reiki practitioner and with permission, have incorporated Reiki into sessions with clients for the past 6 years.
I continue to be amazed at the benefits clients receive with massage, energy work and prayer. All the work I do with clients is with the knowledge I am simply a person with a variety of learned skills and a passion for helping you feel better, realizing, God's right in the middle of it!
The first 3 years of my practice, were spent primarily educating people as to the benefits of massage – and dimming the 'flashing red light' mentality. I believe massage affects us on three levels, all equally important: body, mind and Spirit, each intrinsic to the other. Awareness, education and scientific studies affirming the benefits of massage, has created an easier path for people to experience this wonderful tool to health and wellness. Needless to say, the following years have flowed much easier. My clients range from students to retired folks, with the foundation of clients coming in on a regular basis, because it is a life-style of wellness they have truly incorporated into their lives.

For those who do not use Facebook, I have a separate group I share with. At times, I post a Drop-In-Special, a discounted rate for massage, which is appreciated during difficult economic times. Let me know if you are interested in getting Greetings, or a Daily Thought, I'm happy to share.
On occasion, I teach a variety of classes ranging from: Energy Awareness to Intro to Meditation, to Creating Vision Boards, ... small interactive groups are best! Let me know if you'd like to arrange a class with friends, family or co-workers.
Twice a year, Life Care Center hosts a Holistic Health Gathering. It is open to holistic health practitioners and the public in the Brainerd lakes area, and presents a way of meeting each other and sharing information. I like to think of it as a way to pave the path a little wider for those open to integrating holistic/traditional practices with our current western practices. It's also fun bringing people together!
